Beskids & Moravia · 538 km

Best time · late September to early October

Mountains and beer: Kraków, the Tyniec abbey, the Żywiec brewery, over the Beskids into Czechia, then Brno, Mikulov and the flat roll home to Vienna. Only the leg to Kraków is a train, the way back is all pedaling.

Poznań - Gdańsk Teutonic castles route · 369 km

The Vistula variant of the Baltic ride: out of Poznań through the Promno landscape park to Gniezno, up to Bydgoszcz, then the river towns of Chełmno and Grudziądz, the Malbork castle, and into Gdańsk with a foot in the Baltic. Train to Poznań and back from the coast.
